25th January It was a day of fine performances for the senior sides. The firsts won 15-0 away to Cotham Park, playing with real intensity and aggression, with the pack hugely impressive. Meanwhile the seconds were unlucky to lose out 6-3 to Cotham Park 2s, having playing with genuine commitment. Neither side quite conquered the conditions in a game that came down to fine margins. It was also a game in which the first of the St Brendans Colts squad made their senior debut as Ben Gompels put in a fine performance. We look forward to many more of that age group turning out for the senior sides this season and beyond.
