26,000 – 28,500 words Top 95th Percentile. I forget how percentiles work, but I have been severely disappointed in my vocabulary for years now. Despite constantly reading online (as opposed to novels, true, but at least they are news articles or blogs by people I KNOW are smart), :-P I really struggle to use varied descriptors and keep falling back on the same small handful of words. It`s not about sounding like a thesaurus, but I still wish I could come up with more than like, cool, awesome, wonderful, hilarious, etc.
