26 Facts About Me: (because I was dumb and liked another post LOL) Like this post and I will give you a number. 1.) I have webbed fingers, no kidding. Not like totally webbed, but they are webbed enough that wearing a ring is a pain. 2.) I cant swim a stroke. In fact, I have absolutely no buoyancy. I literally sink like a rock. The only fear I have is deep water. 3.) Ran for public office twice, got smacked twice. Okay, I lost the last one by 2 votes but a smack is a smack. No I have no interest in trying again. 4.) I serve in an appointed capacity on a commission in city government, as well as on an advisory committee in city government. 5.) I am a law enforcement officer for a local college. Factoid: upon the moving of said campus from our old location to the current one, I was technically the last man standing (to leave) the old campus. 6.) Before that, I worked under contract as an Armed Security Guard in two of Syracuses more problematic apartment complexes. Our job was to try to keep the peace as much as possible. I learned a lot over that year. 7.) I was severely bullied as a kid. Now I encourage kids to stand up for themselves, my own included. 8.) I am an LEO representative, and steering committee member, on the Oswego County Adolescent Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition. 9.) I am an LEO member of the Oswego County Domestic Violence Awareness Coalition. 10.) I have a Masters Degree in the Administration of Justice and Security, and have around 16 years experience in Law Enforcement and Security Services. 11.) I am my own worst critic, almost to a fault sometimes. 12.) I have 4 children that I would do anything for, including sacrificing my own life. 13.) I have a college family here at the Fulton Campus, same deal with being protective of them, even if the job is occasionally less than enjoyable. 14.) I expect nothing but excellence from myself, and strive to be challenged and to face challenges. Again, sometimes to a fault. 15.) My favorite colors are black and red. 16.) My PO Box number is 666 17.) Been married forever, okay only like 8 years. 18.) Practiced the arts of Ninjutsu and Kenjutsu formally when I was younger, I still practice on my own informally. 19.) Served in the New York State Guard (State Defense Force / National Guard Domestic Augmentation Force). Yes, New York has one of them under the command of the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs. 20.) I ride motorcycles, but not as much as I should/used to. 21.) I am currently exploring avenues in which I can further my career. 22.) I am 39 years old, pushing the big 4-0 soon enough. 23.) I can understand some broken French, Japanese, Spanish, and even a hint of German. Fairly good at reading Spanish, at least enough that I have a general idea of what one is writing about. I was much better in the past, but I guess if you dont use it you lose it. 24.) I have never suffered from an actual broken bone in my entire life. 25.) Short of one minor oral surgery, I have never had my body operated on in my entire life. 26.) And finally, several years ago I was once bitten by what the hospital believed was a brown recluse, which actually left a small scar on my head that is still visible to this day. Wow, I cannot believe I actually came up with 26 things to say. Enjoy!
