26 Fire Extinguishers Stolen From Jawahar Tunnel, Recovered Police Monday seized two load carriers and arrested four persons for stealing 26 fire extinguishers from highly guarded Jawahar Tunnel. Police sources said that four persons boarding in two load carriers stole all 26 fire extinguishers from Jawahar Tunnel. They added that after stealing fire extinguishers the thieves were intercepted by a police party from Qazigund police station headed by Divisional Officer Muhammad Younis Khan. “We recovered 26 fire extinguishers from the two load carriers (JK18-7639 and JK03B-4835) and arrested four persons all residents of Ban Ashmuji Qazigund,” a police official said. He identified the arrested persons as Amir Amin Wani, Sabzar Nisar Pala, Sameer Mohiuddin Sheikh and Ghulam Qadir Bhat.
