26 days until the election. Somehow I missed days 28 and 27 so Im going to give you three very random facts about myself. I once rode a horse named Lucky in San Antonio Tx. I dont know why his name was Lucky. He stumbled and tripped over his feet. We love to watch Chopped. My two youngest kids love to cook. Mason Hendrix is 16 and Madeleine Bell will be 13 in October. I will find five or so ingredients in a Walmart sack ( because that is how we roll here ) and give them 1 hour to come up with a dessert. We have such a blast doing this with the kids. I encourage anyone who has kids or grandkids to try this. Carley Ann Hendrix doesnt like to cook so she is always a judge. I love traditions! Christmas is the holiday we have the most traditions. One year when I was a young teenager, I sold radios and alarm clocks to raise money to buy a each of my family members a really nice present. It was important to me that I earn the money on my own.
