26th NTA meet today Kohima: The two-day 26th Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship organized by Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) and hosted by Kohima District Taekwondo Association(KDTA) will begin on August 8 at Kohima Science College Auditorium , Jotsoma. The chief guest for the inaugural function on August 8 at 1.00 pm will be Kiyanilie Pesyie, Minister for Social Welfare. Talking to this writer, Lhouliebeio Khezhie, general secretary, NTA said that so far eight districts- Kohima, Dimapur, Kiphire, Tuesang, Mokokchung, Wokha, Longleng and Mon districts have confirmed their participants. He also informed that LM Singh is deputed from TFI to oversee the championship as Observer. Around 300 participants and 50 officials have already reached the venue for the Championship, which will witness the competition in sub-junior, junior and senior, in various categories. The NTA also invited the well wishers and the general public to the witness the championship.
