27 January 1991: Sean Rafferty, 44-year-old Catholic civilian, married with 5 children and a scaffolder was shot by the UDA/UFF at his home. The UFF claimed responsibility for Mr Raffertys killing. The inquest was told that Mr Raffertys 19-year-old daughter went in pursuit of the gunmen. A detective said that Mr Raffertys killing was a naked sectarian attack. The detective added that Mr Rafferty had no connections with any illegal organisation. The inquest was also told that Mr Rafferty sustained several bullet wounds as he was lying helpless on the floor. A teenager hid guns that were used in the shooting and was given a 4-year jail sentence. LEST WE FORGET!
