In general, people are not allowed to even possess them. They are reserved for police and military. The one exception to this rule is if a civilian wants a gun for hunting purposes. But that’s it. So, it’s right up the liberals’ alley, isn’t it? The 2nd Amendment is all about giving citizens the right to hunt. And since no one needs 10 bullets to kill a deer, all that should be allowed is a shotgun. This will make society a safe and free place, protecting our 2nd Amendment right to hunt and eliminating gun murders at the same time. The argument all along from conservatives was that gun-grabbers shouldn’t be focusing on the tool used to commit their crimes. If you outlaw guns, murderers and rapists will use other means. Maybe they’ll use baseball bats or hammers. Or, they’ll use their bare hands. In the northwest region of China in Xinjiang, 27 people ended up killed, and the bad guys didn’t use any guns. They used knives, and there may have been more murders had police not shot the assailants: “Assailants attacked police and other people with knives and set fire to police cars in China’s restive far-western region on Wednesday in violence that killed 27 people, one of the bloodiest incidents since unrest in the regional capital killed nearly 200 in 2009. The early-morning violence – described by state media as riots – also left at least three people injured in a remote area of the Turkic-speaking Xinjiang region, the official Xinhua News Agency said. Police stations, a government building and a construction site were targeted in the attacks, it said. Xinhua said the attackers stabbed victims and set fires, killing 17 people including nine police or security officials, before officers shot and killed 10 of the assailants in Lukqun, a township in Turpan prefecture.” Xinjiang borders Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. So, it’s not surprising that the Uyghur people who comprise the majority there are Muslim. These riots that take place periodically are the result of Muslims doing what comes naturally to them. They get fed up with the largely Han government officials, and their solution is violence and murder. And since they don’t have guns, they’ll use the next best thing, knives. It’s like that Muslim in London who beheaded the British soldier. He didn’t need a gun. All he needed was a knife. In fact, he used a meat clever. If their goal is to kill people, they’ll use whatever means they have available to them to carry out their attack. In the case of the Uyghur people in Xinjiang, they weren’t going to stop until they were physically forced to stop.
