27 years ago today at this moment I was doing laundry, vaccuming the floor boards, when it dawned on me I was in labor. Went to get checked, the Dr said nope...not even close!, went to weinerschutel, had a FAT hamburger, still having contractions (thankfully, Im one of those who doesnt feel the pain), called the Dr a couple of times and finally went to Sutter memorial to be checked out (NOT BEFORE STOPPING AT BURGER KING FOR MY ICE TEA)...while I was registering in the lobby, my water broke, but I thought I was urinating and Ray told me to stop and go to the bathroom. ..WRONG THING TO SAY TO A PREGNANT WOMAN! Got checked at 4:00 pm and for not being in labor....I was dilated to 7...yes I gave the Dr crap about it. My baby ray ray aka Ramon Gibbons jr, was born at 8:40 (he should of been here at 5:00 pm) weighing in at 10 lbs 1.5 Oz AND 27 inches long... it was a struggle, but it was the BEST struggle of my life. I LOVE YOU SON and I am very proud of the man that you have become. I hope you have a great day.
