28 Years ago, on this day, Nov 26, 1986, I was a 1st Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I was stationed in the Philippines. After a very long day at work, I went home, opened a beer and proceeded to watch tv. That was not to be the case on this evening. At 8 pm I proceeded to go to Olongapo City Hospital, Phillipines ..... 90 minutes later, I became a dad. A little girl was born named Yvonne Teresa Smith. From the first time I held you I called you My Little Boo. We have endured many moves and duty stations, many hockey road trips, the ups and downs of life and seeing you become the young woman that you are. Nov 26, 1986 .. A Thanksgiving I will cherish forever.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY YVONNE TERESA SMITH. You will always and forever be My Little Boo...Skinnamarinki Dinki Dink.... Skinnamarinki Do......(you know the rest). :)
