28 years, still no justice for Mendiola massacre Jan. 22, 2015, farmers led by the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (Peasant Movement of the Philippines) trooped to Mendiola, Manila where 13 were killed in 1987 during the presidency of Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino. Under her son, Pres. Benigno Aquino III, and 28 years later, peasants continue to assert genuine agrarian reform and justice. Speakers include the widowed wife of Danilo Arjona, Tessie, from Laguna and Flor Sibayan, a survivor of another massacre in Hacienda Luisita. Tarlac.
