28th Safar, Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Hasan Mujtaba(A.S.) Shahadat of 2nd Imam Hassan (A.S.) On this sad occassion, We present Our condolences to our living imam Imam-e-Zamana(a.s.),Muslim Ummah and all the lovers of the Holy Ahlul Bayt(A.S.) momineen and mominaat Imam Hasan Mujtaba(A.S.) the elder son of Imam Ali(A.S.) and Hadrat Fatima Zahra(A.S.) was martyred by poisoning by his wife Jadah on 28th Safar 50 Hijrah and was buried at Jannat al-Baqi cemetery in the holy city of Madinah. Imam Hasan(A.S.) the Second Holy Imam of the Shiites in the world was Divinely gifted with all great qualities to such an extent that he was outstanding in knowledge, tolerance, intelligence, bounty and valour. Piety and Purity of Imam (A.S.) Imam Hassan (A.S.) was the most pious, devout and ascetic worshiper and adorer of God. Whenever he went to Mecca for pilgrimage, he would go walking on foot. Whenever he performed ablution or stood for his prayers he saw himself in the court of God and his body started trembling he said, The time has come for me to submit the deposit of God to Him. When he came to mosque, he would raise his head, in the prayer place, towards the sky and say, Oh God this is your guest standing in your court. Your defaulter servant has come towards you. And he hopes that you will forgive his bad deeds, by virtue of your kindness and forgiveness. Be prepared for your traveling (for Akhira), and keep ready your necessity before your death comes.
