29 April 2000, I gave my life to Jesus Christ at the Benny Hinn crusade. 30 April 2000, I gave my life again to consolidate my decision. 14 years of following Christ. It has not been easy but it took lots of sacrifice, determination to follow Christ no matter the cost for me to get where I am today, still hungry to go higher with God. Today i say, following Christ has been the best decision of my life and today, I will say that salvation is so sweet. I will never reach in life to know more of God, only when I reach Heaven. I thank God for The Lord Jesus Christ, you have walked and you keep walking with me, teaching me and embracing me and making me stronger and stronger everyday, I LOVE YOU LORD, MY FATHER GOD. I thank Guerson Siboman for praying for me and reaching out to me while in high school, and the gospel musics you kept lending me as your way to evangelise to me. I thank God for Irene Chola, for her follow ups, prayers and investments in my life. I thank God for Neema Mwikali my 1st ever cell leader and spiritual big sister, Wamboi Cherere, Peter Nzimbi, Andrew Nzimbi, Musumbi Obed,Evie Richards, and Victor Muthiani for your spiritual investments in my life, you have surely walked with me. One thing Victor you taught me, never work for money, I still remember that. I Thank God for Pastor Paul Safari Nzimbi and Ms Rita Nzimbi your spiritual investments, you have cried with me, you have walked with me even though I was stubborn and gave you a hard time for not listening. Your sacrifices, your prayers, your teachings, you have a big heart for people - Thank you! I thank God for Muasa Philip - my best man, you have walked with me, you have cried with me and you have prayed with me. I thank God for my boy, Vinnie Davinci Otieno, you are a true friend, we have prayed together and we have cried together and keep waking together. Thank God for Hamuel and Anima Toro any, you keep walking, praying and standing with me till today, your friendship I treasure. I thank God for Dau Gathuru, my true friend, you have walked with me, you have prayed with me, you have cried with me up to today. I thank God for my boys: Paul Stern, Chris Gitonga, Chris Ciano, Gafari Frank, Jonnah Thuo, Roy Upton, Kelvin Mbuthia, Jonah Kazungu, Tray Sinia Kevin Gatimu, George Oloo , Kevin Rawlings and Steve Kamau. I have treasured our sleepovers back in the days, having fun but at the end always having deep talk about God and praying together. It built my foundation in God. Friends who will never lead me in sin, I thank God. I thank God for a true spiritual father and mother, Pastor Johnny and Ms Ann Umukoro. I have watched you from afar and remember the 1st time I heard Pastor Johnny pray, I told God, Lord, I want to be like this man and pray like him. Ms Ann, you have really invested in my life. I have watched both your walk with The Lord and I have hungered for the hunger you have for The Lord. For your nonsense attitude towards sin, I have embraced it. You have challenged my life as I have watched both of you. I thank God for Pastor Abraham Agumba and Ms Faith Abraham. Before Pastor Abraham became a pastor, I remember serving with him in Children ministry and I kept calling him uncle and our friendship has just grown for many years. He has been my spiritual uncle and father. I watch him and his wife and I say, I want to walk like they are walking in The Lord. Pastor Abraham you have thought me to pray, to wake up at midnight and pray. I thank God for both of you. My mother Mrs Brigitte Mukusa, I thank God for the prayers she kept and still makes to God that all her children will serve God. She would come in our rooms, lay her hands on us as we were sleeping and silently pray. Today, all her kids are serving God. And my family, for their supports and respect of my convictions. I thank God for one of my spiritual mothers, the late Ms Rose Kariuki, she did pray for me and walked with me, rebuking me in love and embracing me. Her investments are parts of who I am today. I thank God for one man I would call my best friend, the late Isaac Ateng. He really challenged my faith. He walked with me, we prayed and cried together. His walked with God did impart my walk with God. I thank God for Pastor Joel Chola Mnjala, Pastor James Martin Okumu. Your leadership, your investments, your prayers, your advice, your sacrifice have invested in the foundation of my salvation. I thank God for the leadership of Nairobi Lighthouse church, Pastor Don and Ms Amy Matheny. Their teachings has played a part in my walk with God and in the foundation of my salvation. One man and woman I would like to thank is Pastor Jonathan David Stern and Molly Stern. I look at you and I see the spirit of true missionaries. Your simplicity of living life has impacted my life big time. Your big heart for orphans and people has challenged me. And to all my friends who dont lead me in sin, I say thank you- I say today, a friend who does not lead you into sin and against God, is a true friend. THANK YOU ALL, as I celebrate my 14 anniversary in my walk with God.
