29 January, 2014 Learning the recipe for Lemon Soufflé AKA, a When life gives you lemons recipe. REALLY older parents! My mom is legally blind and without her cochlear implant she is legally deaf. After 48+ years, if found without my mom, my dad is legally dead. Last week I started making it a point to go around the block to read a diary of sorts that moms sister/my Aunt Joyce started writing 8+ years ago. As a side note my parents have been having a post-post midlife crisis and wanting a puppy.?.?.?.If you know my parents, this is like a cold-blooded Floridian retiree wanting the polar vortex. I decided bringing our firstborn puppy, Lady the Border Collie, whom they both adore, along with me as a remedy. Since their last born human grandchild was home from school suffering from tonsil stones, I dragged Kirstyn along too. I began reading the most humorous story about how my Grampa asked my inexperienced Aunt J to drive the farm truck whilst he dumped the feed pellets to the cattle. Only it didnt happen quite so flawlessly. My Aunt geared the standard truck almost sending my grampa over the gate then expeditiously braked dispatching him back over the bed to the cab and his hat over onto the hood sprawled on the bed, Mom in her chair with Ladys head in her lap and my feet perched on the arm of moms chair I realized that life doesnt get any better.
