29 years ago today, under a tent in some friends backyard, with my daughter Rachel Grady at my side and my son Nathan Grady in our dreams, I watched as Bonnie Goldstein took a step to walk down the wedding aisle with the traditional string quartet wedding march and got held by a friend as the sound system blared the secret Id kept from her until then: that first came this song (this version, I think) to celebrate the non-traditionalists that apparently we are. Many of you were there then, all of you are here now, and you all know how grateful and lucky I am that after Bruce said were pulling out of here to win, Bonnie kept walking up the aisle towards us and this lucky car of life.
