29th Asar 2071 B.S. (13th July 2014) is the memorial two-hundred Birth day of the great poet Babubhakta Achraya. Bhanubhakta is a great post-man who carried the Ramayan to every citizens of Nepal. It was to the credit of Bhanubhakta who succeeded in making Nepali language into common, all could know the glory of Nepalese nationhood and becomes conscious of great legacy. The grass cutter opened the eyes of Bhanubhakta where he could contribute the creative way to the Nepali nationality. The great epic Ramayan- was written by Valmiki- the first poet of Sankrit in very ancient time in Balmiki Astram at Chitwon Mid-southern Nepal near by Narayani River. The first poet of Nepal Banubhakta wrote translating Ramayan in Nepali language which became very popular. Actually, poetry creates music and music creates pleasant, joyous and pleasure in human soul. Most of the writers start writing with poetry. The first poet (Aadhi Kaki) Bhanubhakta Acharya and then Leknath Poudel, Laxmi Prasad Devkota, Bal Krishna Sama, Sidhicharan Shrestha, Hridayachandra Singh Pradhan, Bhawani Bhichu, Bhimnidhi Tiwari, Dharanidhar Koirala, Mahananda Sapkota, none have ever created such literature that would have had affected Nepal’s national unity. They wrote what was true. They remained attached to national pride, and in this way they became known in the domain of world literature. The great pioneer poet had contributed for the unity of Nepali in his time. He is immortal in Nepal and literary world. Bhanubhakta contributed the- Ramayana, Ram Gita, Bandhu Siksha and along with a numbers of poems. His contribution to the promotion of our common contact language and literature. Bhanubhakta applied the reality that every individual is a book we should have to read them. Lets tribute the great poet Babubhakta with great regards Thank you!
