2Ti 3:1-9 Godlessness in the Last Days 1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self- control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. 9 But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men. (ESV) Paul was taking to Timothy about what will come in the Last days.If you have checked these signs above,make sure the devil does not use you as a sign or your lifestyle does not preach these signs of the last days.Be careful not to be a channel through which these signs shall come beacuse WOE unto you if you are found to be one of them in the last days.Listen to what Jesus said,he said; Mat 18:7-8 7 “Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes! 8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire........."(ESV).If the Master Himself is saying this,it should tell you how fierce hell will be and how you should do anything possible to be found in eternal life. May your life not preach the coming of the last days.May it preach life,hope and peace.Woe unto you!. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! May you not be a sign and a wonder of doom and damnation but may we be a sign and wonder of HIS Grace and Salvation.God bless you
