2am wide awake! Cant wait for morning to get out and about! We are 3 minutes from the lake and about 5 from the old quarter. My injuries are getting better so am raring to go! Was surprised at the improvement in the road from the airport dual all the way in. Lots of building going on everywhere but the people are still living with nothing! In places it is absolute squallor. The street this hotel is on is jam packed with little houses and shops they sit out on the streets to eat their meals and park their motor bikes on the footpath, we have to walk down the roadway. Then in amongst it all is this fabulous glass and marble hotel! Once again a country of contrasts.
