2dys topic (06H30--06H55): Controversy around the marks required for matric learners to pass, may soon be a thing of the past. The Department of Basic Education has set up a task team that will engage the public on how this matter should be addressed. At present, learners require a 40 percent pass in three subjects and 30 percent in another three to obtain their matric certificates.....ur take on this 30% 40% matric pass rate?....is it really lowering the quality of our education system?
