2nd Annual CrossFit Cambridge In-House Competition: 11:00AM Event 3: 13 Minute AMCalAP 0:00-1:00 Row for Calories 1:00-6:00 50 Lateral Burpees over Rower 6:00-7:00 Row for Calories 7:00-12:00 70 KB Snatches 12:00-13:00 Row for Calories Athletes will have three chances to row for calories during this workout. Athletes will begin on their rowers. After the first minute athletes will attempt to complete 50 lateral burpees over the rower. If the athlete finishes their burpees before the 6:00 mark, that athlete may begin their row early and continue until the 7:00 mark. At the 7:00 mark athletes will attempt to complete 70 total KB snatches. If the athlete finishes their KB snatches before the 12:00 mark, that athlete may begin their row early and continue until the 13:00 mark. Score will be total calories rowed. If an athlete fails to finish their 50 burpees or 70 KB snatches, no penalty will be put in place, they just do not receive extra rowing time. All athletes will row for a minimum of 3 minutes. 12:30PM Event 4: 5 Minute AMSquatsAP 10 Squats at X Weight 10 Squats at X+ Weight 10 Squats at X++ Weight AMRAP Squats at X+++ Weight Athletes will receive a bar, a rack, and a stack of weights. The bar will be loaded with the starting weight. The athlete will complete 10 back squats at the initial weight. The athlete will then add additional weight and complete 10 more squats. So on and so forth until the final weight where they will complete as many squats as possible with the time remaining. Score will be total squats completed. Weights will be announced tomorrow. Cant give all the details away! Finals will begin at approximately 1:30PM and will only involve the top 5 Males and top 5 Females. More details to follow.
