The 2nd annual Obesity Australia summit will continue with the format of invited presentations followed by panel discussions of 30-45 minutes, allowing for robust interaction between speakers, panellists and audience. The program for this years meeting will be based on Obesity Australias Action Agenda: the meeting will begin by looking at obesity in Australia, discuss obesity and the first 4 years before a childs 3rd birthday, obesity prevention and intervention in children, and the treatment of chronic, relapsing, severe obesity. The meeting will then move on to explore regulation as a means to an end, what other solutions should be considered, and conclude by discussing working with government and industry to get action.
