2nd VIVEKANANDA INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2014 INVITATION Dear Sir/ Madam It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Vivekananda Law School Moot Court Society, Advocate’s Legion is organizing its flagship event, the 2nd VIVEKANANDA INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, hereinafter mentioned as 2nd VIPS IMC 2014, from 7th to 9th November 2014. Our endeavor is to facilitate and enhance the mooting skills of the students along with the knowledge of substantive law. We have been organizing various events of national and international significance, providing a platform to the students to learn the pragmatic aspects of legal studies. Our first Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies International Moot Court Competition (1st VIPS IMC 2013) held from 4th to 6th October 2013, was a grand success, with the participation of 26 teams from all over India, including two international teams. The Competition was inaugurated by Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Vice Chancellor, NALSAR University and was judged by eminent professors and senior advocates. The final round was judged by the Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. K. Sikri, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Judge, Delhi High Court. A trip to Taj Mahal, Agra was also organized for all our participants. Following the same league, the 2nd VIPS IMC 2014 is expecting the involvement of more teams this time which will not be complete without participation from your esteemed University/Institute. The participating teams shall be taken to one day trip to Taj Mahal on 10th November 2014. We look forward to your participation.
