2pm. In-Home. Evansville, IN. Zeus the Warrior Mr. Zeus has been through some pretty traumatic experiences in his past life. Found as a stray emaciated with barbed wire around your abdomen and leg and surgeries following is a lot for any animal. Once adopted by his family they have met his needs physically and he is gorgeous and healthy. But, still feeling sorry for him for his past has made him pushy, bold, insecure, hyper, aggressive and panicky. Once we were finally able to walk him without him clawing me to peices from panic he calmed and surrendered to letting me have control and this let him know that he does not ever have to worry about anything in life, I alone will take care of him and protect him. And that is what pack leader is. God is my pack leader, and surrendering creates calm, submissive, loving behavior. He completely relaxed and was a marshmallow sweetie pie and his bloodshot eyes faded and his panting subsided and when I stopped he stopped and sat and was appreciative for his new self. Then passing the leash to his wonderful momma and he continued to be sweet respectful and no panic. Only trust and love. And this is why I call him a warrior. To overcome the hell hes been through to trusting humans again so quickly. Zeus you are a hero!
