3 - Renowned political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to attend his trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and ignore the African Union (AU)’s call of not attending his trial. In his Twitter account on Monday, Mutahi who is famous for his wizardly hypothesis regarding the country’s political affairs said if Uhuru fails to attend to his trial, ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda will be smiling all the way to the bank since he would have fallen to her trap and she will issue an arrest warrant on him. Mutahi said the original game plan of ICC was Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto refuse to attend their trials and then issue an arrest warrant on them and eventually finish their job. He said Uhuru should attend his trial which commences on November 12 and then refuse to attend the judgment day; this may confuse the court since it was not part of their game plan. Here are Mutahi Ngunyi’s tweets. Mutahi Ngunyi # ICC original game-plan was this: Uhuru/Ruto refuse to go. Warrants are issued. ICC wins morally. Bensuda goes to Bermuda for holiday. Finito Mutahi Ngunyi # My 11th hour thought: Uhuru should go. He should damn the AU and its cowardice: Botch the ICC scheme. However, he should not attend judgment.
