3/10/14 “Endless Thirst I’m a midnight toker Who never did right sober Running around with an endless thirst Like I’m on a friendless earth How can I tend this curse? While I defend the turf All this beefing is trivial And is seeming lineal At a slanted slope I’m eating chunks of cantaloupe Above a village that is always trying to plant hope I feel like some just can’t cope Through a granted scope While they use different kinds of branded soap Each cue quick and rapid While I was about to spit acid Through pick brackets With the music blasted And a new trick crafted The ability to do it lasted Now, The vehicle full of unleaded swerved Over piles of shredded fur As I move like a predator Under a moon that’s a crescent blur While the wind in the present stirs I’m out in the far side And on a long car ride I watched in astonishment as a shooting star flied The fresh pieces of tar dried While I got out near an abandoned building, the crowbar pried Several pieces of hard ply Before you are spied And given a charred hide You must keep your guard high I hold a vicious bite That can finish fights Before the sickness spikes In Citrus Heights You were unable to witness night
