3/13/14 A lesson in patience, a lesson in hope. Yesterday I had yet another run in with my insurance company. When I was at deaths door, they were great- paying for all sorts of things, taking the worry away. Now that Im just needing a little maintenance, they could care less. I got all worked up and bent out of shape when I was unable to get my inhaler. Stayed that way for about an hour. Angry, crying, scared because I was having difficulty breathing. Then Gods plan began to unfold. Those He sent to help were successful and I got the medication I needed. Waiting is never easy. Im too much like Indiana Jones. Remember that scene where Indy is fighting the bad guy--they are going back and forth and then Indy gets tired and pulls out a gun and just shoots the guy. Took all the joy out of the victory. Slowly, but surely Im learning to stick with the battle and let God work out the victory. It is SO worth the wait!
