3/17 SEEDS FOR JESUS Verse and Commentary Monday Verse: Romans 5:5 King James Version (KJV) 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Commentary: As we go along in life, we find that hope may be the most important trait that we can cultivate, for hope is an expectation of the future that determines how we live today. The mistakes that we have made can make it easy to lose hope, but God brings to us good news: we are more dysfunctional than we want to admit, but we are more loved than we could ever dream. This reality will not disappoint us when we believe the gospel that is offered to us in Jesus Christ.
