3.20am my phone rings. I look at the screen twice wondering what he wanted to say. Finally, I decide to pick coz I know the guy works in the hotel industry....A shaking voice Madam, is there a way u can help us? I wake up just to be sure that I am not dreaming. Then I replied...My dear, relax and explain to me what the problem is...You see, we boarded a Matatu in town, as we approached Ruiru, the vehicle was diverted towards some shady place, one guy who was seated next to the driver questioned where we were being taken, the driver tells him to keep his mouth shut. In a split of a second, this guy reaches the hand break and attempts to pull it up. The passengers start screaming and one of the guys(read thugs) throws himself out of the window and is seriously injured. On the driver realising this, he diverts and drives straight into Ruiru police station. On arrival, he parks the car and heads straight to the reception n pretends to record a statement. We all alight and after a few minutes one of the police officers demand that we leave the station....to cut the story short, the passengers are dismissed without being allowed to record any statements, no other means of transport to reach their destination...Madam...Please help us.....
