3:37 A. M. this Monday morning in downtown TACOMA, WASHINGTON, and all is quiet. Turned on the NEWS this morning at 12:00 Midnight, and I noticed that the RENTON NEANDERTHALS lost a Football Game, 28 to 34. Over the Week End, I had taken the Liberty of removing the 5U4 LOW VOLTAGE RECTIFIER TUBE out of my 12 INCH ROUND MOTOROLA TELEVISION SET, to save it for a "rerun" of "CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU". In addition, the wife decided to Bake CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, so removed the ALUMINUM FOIL from my RABBIT EAR ANTENNAS, and used same, as a COOKIE SHEET so she could BAKE those COOKIES in our WOOD BURNING STOVE OVEN. It was kind of a reward anyhow, not having to watch a "rout" of the NEANDERTHALS. In addition, for the HOST TEAM, is was also a "BLESSING" not to have to listen to the "SCREAMING MEEMEE OF THE 12 WOMAN AT 136 DECIBELS. Anyhow, it was a good day.
