3 AM thoughts with Peaches. I want to make a comic book series about a female superhero. One who is very muscular and her outfit isnt just two quarters and a post it note. *cough* Starfire *cough* I want it to be very female charged because in the comic book world and in most geek outlets, it shouldnt be a shock to you that theres not many female role models. Well thats because men are the main buyers. Yes, but women are still there and I feel like theres a lot of discouragement towards women to be interested in these kind of things. Anyways, her best friend will be a house wife because I want to show that its OK to be a warrior and its OK to be a house wife, so long as youre happy. Her main villain will be a woman, because women are usually very catty towards other women and very competitive. We try to tear each other down for no good reason. Shell have a male super hero she competes with, but he always gets more questions as to how he saved the day, where her questions are based on her diet and size. (Inspired by an actual interview with RDJ and Scarlett Johansson) She will not have a love interest. This comic is in no way to tear men down, but only to show girls that it is OK to be whatever you want to be without the pressure of choosing the more feminine route if you dont want to.
