Dianne Olds Rossi is one of the foremost and most widely known trainers of the Equestrian Arts known as “The Dance” or “Haute Ecole”. (High School) An expert of the Piaffe and Passage, none have been able to match the brilliance and exactness of her horses. She has presented her stunning horses throughout the United States not as a dressage exhibitor, but as an entertainer. Her background in the horse industry is wide and varied; including Arabians, jumping, all around western riding, reining, trail, and stock horses. In Dianne’s extensive career with dancing horses, she spent ten years training with the German Master of the High School Albert Ostermaier. This included many years performing with Lipizzans, Warmbloods, and eventually led to her introduction into the world of movie horses. Dianne was privileged to be the only apprentice to accomplish “the art of the dancing horse” in the tradition of excellence that Albert demanded. Dianne and Albert remained friends until his passing. Dianne’s qualifications are exemplary, and her performances on her Red Friesian Fire Magic are breathtaking. Fire magic Known affectionately as “Chewy”, was crowned the Breyerfest Horse of the year in 2005. Choreographing and designing the acts so the horse dances in exact timing of the music is a specialty of Dianne’s, and no one does it better. These horses have performed across the United States and have been showcased on National Television. Dianne fell in love with the artistry of the dancing horses and with her dedication to seek out this disappearing art of horsemanship, she was able to study with some of the finest trainers in the world and became known as the finest dancing horse presenter in the U.S. Dianne’s creativity with the musical freestyle and cowboy dressage brings Dianne full circle past and present. Her style of riding will elevate Cowboy Dressage to its purest form. So ask yourself if you want to learn, why learn from someone else? When you can learn from the true “Master of the Dance”.
