3 Die, 45 injured in road mishaps Srinagar, August 27: Three persons died and forty five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. A Sumo bearing registration number JK01D/7447 hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh son of Abdul Ahad resident of Singpora at Gopan Nali, Hanjiwara, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Pattan. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pattan, where he succumbed his injures. A School Bus of Vision Public School, Kupwara bearing registration number JK09/1351 collided with Tipper bearing registration number JK09/8926 at Khangund Khumriyal, Kupwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Kupwara, resulting in injuries to ten students and a teacher. All the injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital for treatment, where from two students have been referred to Srinagar. Among them Kasif Fayaz age 09 years son of Fayaz Ahmad Ganie resident of Kalarooch succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard An unidentified Truck hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK04B/2703 near Bemina Chowk, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of police station Batamaloo, resulting in on spot death of the Motorcyclist Sameer Ahmed Gojri son of Ghulam Gojri resident of Zaindar Mohalla, Habakadal, Srinagar. A case has been registered in this regard. A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK05C/1476 rammed into a Truck bearing registration number JK05B/4391 at Hanjiwara on National Highway, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Pattan, resulting in injuries to the Maruti Car driver Ali Mohammad Mallah resident of Harinara Sumbal. The injured has been shifted to JVC hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. A Bus bearing registration number JK03/3288 turned turtle near Flour Mill Watayan, Handwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Handwara, resulting in injuries to thirty passengers. The injured were shifted to Handwara hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. A Scorpio bearing registration number JK09A/0496 and Beat bearing registration number JK05/1537 collided at Chatloora crossing, Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Dangiwacha, resulting in injuries to four passengers, who were boarded in the Scorpio. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
