*3 Lessons I Learned from Working with Clients* 1. Make room in your schedule for down time. I preach this to people all the time, yet sometimes even I forget to do it. I often get the feeling that, if Im not doing something business-related, Im not being productive. The truth is, we all need down time. I was reminded of this recently while working with a group of clients at a retreat. And, as soon as I realized I was working too much, I immediately looked at my calendar and carved out some me time. 2. Mindset and confidence are everything when it comes to success. When you are not confident about or dont believe in the value you provide to customers and clients, you will avoid interacting with them and taking the necessary actions to grow your business. How you view the world is a choice, so choose wisely. 3. Any problem or challenge has many possible solutions. Seek help from trusted mentors, advisors, coaches, and other positive-thinking business people. This allows you to look at problems and challenges from a new perspective -- and you may find some new solutions, especially if you remain open to the feedback.
