3. Mormonism- Where are the first 12 LDS apostles? Since all 12 were told that each of them would be like the others and some (most) were told they would live until Jesus returns we have to ask the LDS Church, where are the first 12 LDS apostles? [we have already examined #1-3, 4 & 6 (the order they were Chosen by their god to be apostles)] 7. William E. MLellins Blessing” in the name of the Lord he shall have wisdom and intelligence poured out upon him. There is no evidence anywhere that he was any more wise or intelligent than any average LDS of his day AND, as we have been told repeatedly by the LDS here, most folks back then couldnt even, or could just barely, read. That he will stand before kings and rulers to bear (his) testimony, and be upheld by holy angels; and the nations of the earth shall acknowledge that God has sent him; he shall have power to overcome his enemies. How many kings and rulers did he stand before and bear his testimony to? None! He left the LDS Church and became an enemy to it. No nation, then or now, acknowledges him to be of God. He shall be a prince and savior to Gods people. No one ever looked on him as a prince. And, I thought Jesus was our Savior. I reckon not, if this LDS blessing is true. So why, then, did Jesus die such a horrible and humiliating death on the Cross if MLellin was the savior to Gods people? He shall be wafted as (carried) on eagles wings, from country to country, and from people to people; and be able to do wonders in the midst of this generation. Does this one even need a reply? Is it even sane to think this occurred? If nothing else does, this one statement, made over and over again, proves the LDS Church is false. One lie equals false to the real all-powerful and all-knowing God of Heaven and Earth and this statement is certainly a lie. No one in all of the worlds history has been seen or recorded as being flown around the world on eagles wings. How much more absurd can these so-called blessings from god be? the heavens shall be opened unto him, as unto men in days of old Such as Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, Solomon. So why did Jesus come if God is still speaking to man as unto days of old? That makes no sense at all. He shall convince thousands that God has sent him. Better put, he shall deceive many (not thousands) that God has sent him. And, the always gratuitous, he shall live til Christ returns thing [verbatim- and his days may be prolonged until the coming of the Son of Man] Okay, Ill believe Mormonism and defend it to the death when any LDS, that includes the prophet or any General Authority, can produce any one (just one!) of these first 12 LDS apostles alive. So LDS where should I go to meet one of these guys? Salt Lake City maybe? Also, I hope all of you will believe Mormonism only when that happens, too. If Mormonism is true then these men- and hundreds of other folks- are still alive, in the flesh and here on earth right now and some after more than 200 years according to numerous revelations and prophecies given by Joseph Smith. 8. John F. Boynton’s “Blessing’ (HoC 2:191) This Blessing is one of those mundane blessings I spoke of in the last Blessing post (MLellinns- #7). But, even this one states things like: Thou shalt declare the Gospel unto many nations. Thou shalt be like the brethren who have been blessed before thee. Again, let me remind folks. These 12 men were to raise the dead, fly all around the world somehow to preach the LDS gospel to multiple nations and peoples, have men call them God, call down pestilences from heaven on men, cause nations to tremble and, of course, live until Jesus returns. Thou shalt see the face of thy Redeemer in the flesh. Since we know Mr. Boynton died, like the other 11, its pretty obvious he isnt going to live until Jesus returns. These blessings are pronounced and sealed upon thee. Even so. Amen. A number of these Blessings end this way or similar to it. The problem is they were all fabrications bent to deceive those who wanted desperately to believe JS & Company were true. My heart breaks for the deceived LDS today. JS is, as the LDS Church has declared through one of its soon to be prophets, one of the biggest frauds this world has ever seen. Here is the entire quote from Joseph Fielding Smith (10th LDS prophet) Mormonism, as it is called, must stand or fall on the story of JS. He was either a prophet of God, divinely called, properly appointed and commissioned, or he was one of the biggest frauds this world has ever seen. THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND. If JS was a deceiver, who willfully attempted to mislead the people, THEN HE SHOULD BE EXPOSED; HIS CLAIMS SHOULD BE REFUTED, AND HIS DOCTRINES SHOWN TO BE FALSE, for the doctrines of an imposter cannot be made to harmonize in all particulars with divine truth. If his claims and declarations were built upon fraud and deceit there would appear many errors and contradictions, which would be easy to detect (there are and they are). The doctrines of false teachers will not stand the test when tried by the accepted standards of measurement, the scriptures (the Bible)- Doctrines of Salvation (DoS) 1:188. And there are still five more to go.
