3 PhD students and 2 Postdocs to work at the intersection of process mining and management of process model collections in Australia Fancy the warm Australian weather and looking for a stimulating research job in the area of big process data? If so, keep reading. We are looking for 3 PhD students and 2 Postdocs to work at the intersection of process mining and management of process model collections. Process mining combines techniques from data mining/machine learning with process modelling and analysis, to extract business process knowledge from organisational data, and use this to drive performance improvements. But what when organisations already have a legacy of process models? How to ensure these models remain current and relevant? This research will look into the development of approaches, techniques and tools to modify existing process models in such a way that get and remain in-synch with current organisational behavior, as captured by organisational logs.
