3 Star Ratings – Congratulations to CIIT & Pakistan! Comsats University of Information Technology organized a press conference in Serena Hotel on 6th November 2013 to announce its numerous achievements from inception to-date. The Head International Office, Dr. Arshad Malik, highlighted the salient features of the achievements. According to HEC’s ranking, CIIT ranks at number 4 and number 3 in Pakistan among general universities and in international research publications respectively. More recently an international ranking agency, QS Organization, which carries out world universities ranking, has carried out an independent analysis of various aspect of activities of CIIT and awarded THREE STARS (out of a total of FIVE) and out of a total about 8-9 categories earned a perfect score of FIVE OUT OF FIVE in as many as three categories of TEACHING; FACILITIES; and ENGAGEMENT. The award was announced during a QS conferenceheld in Seoul, South Korea on November 1st, 2013. It may be important to note that COMSATS Institute is the first ever higher education institution in Pakistan who earned this coveted star rating.
