3) Too wet to go outside? Kids can make there own play-dough and then use it to make whatever they want, models, plaques, animals, jewellery etc - will harden when left to dry ready for painting. How to make the playdough - Recipe 1/4 cup salt 1 cup flour 1/4 cup water mix the flour and salt in a bowl then add water. Knead and squeeze the dough to make a clay consistency. you want the mixture to stick together but not so it so sticky it sticks to your fingers! add a bit more flour if to sticky - if its too dry and wont stick together at all just add a drop more water. it should be like pastry. Its ready to use! - if you want to jazz up the dough Divide into sections, then knead in food coloring (liquid or paste) or even some glitter! Model into whatever you want! leave to dry, paint! Keep your dough wrapped up in some cling film or plastic food bag as it will start to dry out quickly - We would love to see photos of the kids enjoying this so please feel free to upload them to Brampton Bigmag.
