3. Where to eat? Restaurants in Turin: Turin offers characteristic proposals: different cuisines of the world meet in unusual and unexpected marriages in order to satisfy any palate and also any budget. The different proposals offered and the great number of restaurants in the city, can disorientating tourist. An advise that we want give you, is to start taste some dishes of Piedmont tradition in the various typical inns, such as, cold veal with tuna sauce, or agnolotti del plin with roast meat sauce, or bagna caöda, or risotto with barolo wine sauce, or mixed boiled, or braised meat in barolo wine sauce followed by desserts like bounet, baci di dama and gianduia cake. For those who like home-made cooking, there are many different regional alternatives: from venetian to sicilian cuisine passing through Umbria, Tuscany, Sardinia and Campania. Do not forget ethnic cuisine, that in the last years has had a strong growth, and that suggests gastronomic flavours from different worldwide countries such as Morocco, Greece, India, China, Japan, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. We want to remember that some restaurants are considered luxury establishments and with prices higher thah other, like the famous Ristorante del Cambio, where had dinner Cavour, Rattazzi and Lamarmora, and declared historical establishment by the Associazione Locali Storici dItalia. Also famous and of high quality are: Al Gatto Nero, Mare Nostrum, Caval dBrons, Montecarlo, La Porta Rossa and Vintage.
