3 friends Akpors, Ejiro and Ofego were dragged to their community ruler’s palace for stealing and were all found guilty of their accused crime. The ruler decided that he was going to punish them according to what they sold and gave his verdict as follows: Ejiro, you stole a tin of sardine that contains 3 fishes, therefore, we shall give you 3 days of hard labour on my farm and 3 lashes of cane. Ofego, as for you, you stole a crate of eggs containing 30 eggs, you shall receive 30 days of hard labour on my farm and 30 strokes of the cane. As soon as the ruler said ‘as for you Akpors’….Akpors fainted….He stole A WHOLE BAG OF RICE!!! How many days of hard labour do you think Akpors deserves?
