3 persons including 2 student of IUST died, 7 injured in tragic road accident in Awantipora. Three persons including 2 Students of Islamic University Awantipora died on spot and seven persons including 3 Student of Islamic University were injured in tragic road accident when a collision between Taveera No. JK03D-1321 and Tipper No. JK-JK03B-6948 on National Highway at Barsoo Awantipora in Pulwama district on Friday afternoon, Station House Officer (SHO) Awantipora Mr. Tariq Ahmad told media. The deceased were identified as Kounsar Ahmad Ahangar Son of Ghulam Mohudin resident of Khasipora Pattan B Tec Student 5th Sem, Pir Sajad Ahmad Son of Pir Bashir Ahmad resident of Beerwa Budgam Student of Computer Science 7th Sem and driver of the Taveera Umar Farooq Reshi Son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Sail Charsoo, Awantipora. All the injured persons have been shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment.
