3 universal truths of my life: 3. No matter where I am in the country, or what part of the year it is, or even in an ice storm (as was the case in the last few days), there is ALWAYS someone moving a mattress on top of their car. 2. My life is tough. This is not a complaint, just a fact. I chose it, either directly or indirectly and I rise to every challenge or give everything I have to it. If I fall short it is not from lack of trying. 3. Life is short and precious. People come in my life for reason. I just hope I learn why and can appreciate them before they are taken from me. Im home and trying to reconcile the last couple of weeks. Listening to Kelli sleep, and seeing Ro Dog at the foot of my bed, and knowing my kids are safe are enough for me tonight. Tomorrow is another day I WILL fight. Goodnight.
