3 weeks today. Its been 3 weeks since we up and left our home in Peru. So far we have registered our kids in a school and put 3 offers in on homes. All of which, as of today are no-gos (except the last one, still waiting.) We find a house, the school doesnt have a dual-language program. We find a great school, the houses are not in our range. We found a school and registered them, the house inspection failed MISERABLY. Tried starting a loan process and realized half of our paper work we need is on a container...sitting in Lima, Peru. Im now under the weather and my mom just busted out home school this morning with my kids because well... we HAVE to have some structure. Some days I have to laugh and most days I just want to cry. Still havent figured out a doctor in this town and just wondering if Im going to just go into the ER when I feel ready and forget all this looking for a new doc business. If I cant have Len Tadvick deliver our fourth child, then who cares right?:))) So, those of you that have asked so, how is the transition going? This is the short answer. This is the REAL answer. Amidst all this crap though I have to say that I feel extremely blessed to have a home to live in with my parents. They have taken care of us WELL! I feel blessed that through all this craziness Lee Fletcher and I still like each other! Love that man and all he is doing to try and get us settled. Hes carrying a load, thats for sure. My kids are loving all the grandparent time and lets not pretend like I havent been to Sonic everyday and to Target about every other. Mama has to survive people.
