3 years back I asked my father crying that dad u never have time for us.. You were nowhere! Not when we were in school..not for PTMs..not when it was time to decide between medical and non medical..not when it was being difficult to decide from which colg I will do my engineering.. Nowhere! To this he replied very calmly and equally hurt: beta mai nahi ho sakta..I cant be with you..bcoz I have a work which demands me to give my 100%... I have responsibility of thousands of people and their families on me..they have put their trust on me..they are relying on me..for you children your mother is here who has performed the duties of both father and mother very well..every decision has been taken care of by her very efficiently..and I realised that I am not born to ordinary parents..they are not only giving us a better life but to thousands of people also..I had a very Imp. Exam next day and he had arrived only a day before..without me even saying anything he sensed I was tensed..he promised me that he will accompany me to the examination centre but his party leader called him in the night and asked him to come back for an imp. Meeting..he had to leave the same night to reach delhi on time..he looked at me...hurt, pain and helplessness in his eyes and I said go papa...duty comes first and dont worry from now onwards your daughter will never complain bcoz I understand how difficult it is for you to leave ur family but you are doing that fir a good cause and you are always a phone call away so go without any worries and do ur job..I am proud of you papa... I am so very proud of you...
