30,000 homeless...Nationals answer is to exploit this situation by opening up much needed state homes to private landlords who will, most likely, charge higher rents....more of our taxes will go to housing subsidies to support these landlords to build up their equity porfolios and off-set their income taxes - more treachery. The most fair and just way to fix homelessness is MANAs policy of building 10,000 new state homes each year until the housing crisis is abated and to offer low interest rates for homelessness and `rent-to-own options - this policy is key to addressing intergenerational poverty as well as homelessness.
