30 D.A.R Devotional 13-Nov-2013 CLOSE THE DOORS 2 Kings. 4: 1-7, Heb. 12: 1-3, Prov. 4: 23 Point verse: 2 Kings. 4: 4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. Today is a new day, another great day for great possibilities. If you look at constructions of new buildings, spaces are created for doors because it is known, a building must have doors which is essential, but this same doors if left open at all times, will serve as an inlet for rodents , bugs, rain and other environmental factors into the building damaging things. Let me use this doors to illustrate our heart, ears and eyes. Whatever you let in on your path to fulfilling your vision and glorious destiny, has a way of derailing and weakening you. If you give in to the mockery and negativity, it will affect you greatly. Even as the woman in todays scripture was told to shut her doors (2 Kings. 4: 4) , simply because she was doing something extraordinary and if many see it, they might mock her and her faith might fail. So the prophet quickly admonished her that she should close her doors while engaging in the act for her breakthrough. I as well admonish you to close and guard your heart, ears and eyes from all forms of negativity, dont let it get to you. They might have mocked you from January to till now but as they are mocking you the LORD is making you. Halleluyah. If you let it get through the doors of your heart youhave given the enemy his way to tamper with the affairs of your life, but that wont be your case in Jesus name amen. As you hearken today to disregard all form of negativity, keep your goals and visions in view just as Christ our perfect example did, neglecting all for the Glory set before him (Heb. 12:2). Do you know that even his own kinsmen mocked him but he remained firm. I advise that you do the same, forget about your critics neglect negative criticism, focus on your goals and still trust the I AM THAT I AM, that this year will not pass without your breakthrough. Stand firm! your portion shall be delivered to you, again i say stand firm! God is working and there shall surely be a release for you. Prayer: Heavenly Father, the grace to stand firm against all odds I receive it today in Jesus Name. Amen
