30 D.A.R Devotional 14- Mar-2014 WHAT YOU ACCEPT WILL AFFECT: 1 Cor. 2: 15, Matt. 7: 15-20 Point Verse: 1 Cor. 2: 15 But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him]. (AMP) I grew up believing all sorts of things and I realised that even as I grew it still had a little way of affecting my thought pattern. As the Holy Spirit was revealed to me, I began to discern all truth (2 Cor. 2: 15). We all should be very watchful of what we choose to accept because many will come with self thought up analogy claiming it to be the Holy Spirit inspired(Matt.7:15). Whatever you accept in turn will affect you, because what you receive is what you give out. The Jews have totally been groomed with the mosaic Law and they mostly refused to totally accept the new covenant Jesus brought. This made them object continuously with the disciples, the information you get definitely defines your disposition. Be very watchful this season of the information you accept because if not now, in future, it will somehow affect your thought pattern. Remember what you accept is what will take effect and will affect you. A high level of spirituality is greatly needed to enable us all to receive our portions in destiny. Be watchful, dear one may the Holy Spirit continually guide us all In Jesus Name Amen. Prayer: Heavenly Father, may the presence of your Holy Spirit continually dwell in me enabling me discern in Jesus Name, Amen
