30 for 30 #12- Reel Big Fish I started listening to RBF in 1997. I heard Sell Out on the radio, liked it, and then heard Matt Goldbach was a big fan too. Thats all 13 year old Joe needed to hear. I got the album and fell in love with it. I listened to that one quite a few times. I actually bought a two disc live CD too. Ive been to a few concerts as well. Even today, the RBF station is on my Pandora. I just like the songs, and sometimes they do awesome covers like Take On Me or Another Day In Paradise. Theres actually an entire album of fun covers. Other songs you may have heard include: She Has A Girlfriend Now, Trendy, Everything Sucks, I Want Your Girlfriend To Be My Girlfriend, The Kids Dont Like It, Ban The Tube Top, Where Have You Been?, and Dont Start A Band. If you like ska music, or horns, or want to experience something a little different, I suggest you fire up the Spotify and give a listen when youre not doing much or driving. Youll like it.
