30 to 30: This list will not really be understood by anyone but me, but it was an important list for me to make. The clothes have always been very important to me. I guess I get that from my grandmother. From a very small age I wanted to pick out my own clothes. Over the years I have tried many styles, and most of which it is pretty safe to say my dad was right when he would in his own kind way ask what I was wearing. Looking back some of these are pretty awful, but at the time they were great, well, at least to me. And no matter what, I will still stand by the fact that in 2002 I was the best dressed kid in beebe high school! Ha! Fashion changes like the weather and I change clothes more often than that, so here is a list of my most favorite outfits over the years. Thirty Of My Favorite Outfits: • Reba Outfit – This is what I wore when I went to see reba in the 4th grade. It consisted of light blue denim shirt, faded jeans and my navy blue ropers. I kept it for years after I grew out of it. • Purple T-shirt - My most favorite shirt in the first grade. I ripped it trying to get it out of the closet. • Silk Shirt – 5th grade, from my grandmother, it was blue with red and yellow in it. I thought I was real fancy! • Bowling Shirt – I received this shirt along with my silver tab jeans for my 13th birthday. It can be seen in my 7th grade picture. • Darwin T-shirt – I had a fish on it and said “Darwin is dead”. I recoil at the thought of wearing a shirt with so many words and pictures on it. But it made people talk about it and really that’s all that matters! • Sky Blue Sweater, Brown Wool Pants – Was my favorite outfit my senior year. I had some of my senior pics made in it, including the blue bead bracelet and the tight brown shell choker! • Camp Staff T-shirt, B lack Wind-pants, Beads – First I must mention that the shirt was size large and khaki color, then the pants were black WIND PANTS, and the beads were the closest to a rave I ever got. They were multi-colored beads wrapped around my wrist three times with a star beaded bracelet next to it. Wow, just wow. • Senior Choir concert – Again, black pants and brown shirt!!! Shame. It was a hot mess, but damn I worked hard to put it all together. Unfortunately thanks to cassy brown, a pic of the outfit reappeared a few weeks ago on facebook! And I thought I looked real good! • Senior Awards Banquet – Maroon army shirt with Black corded pants. Still looks good! • Blue yellow cowboy shirt, jeans, cowboy band. (2004) I found this very fitted shirt in a thrift store. The cowboy band I still wear to this day. This is probably the first outfit that shaped my clothing choices today. I wore it to see the Dixie chicks and made it in the paper giving Natalie Maines a peace sign. • Green Shirt, Brown cargo pants – Another flea market find, it was one of my all time favorite shirts • Grand ole opry tee, brown pants – I bought this shirt my senior year and I still have it! Unfortunately I sometimes wore this shirt with a white bandana! • Gray polo, jeans – I wore this on May Day my senior year. The polo was a thin t-shirt material and looked great on my first time tanned skin! This outfit was completed with a Kenny chesney shell necklace. • Pink tee-camo shorts. My favorite camp outfit! It was a bright pink tee with green and brown camo shorts and flip flops! • Green polo, black pants, white belt – I wore this to easter 2004, my sophomore recital and my first day at Gap in Nashville! It’s still one of my best! • Gray vest, white shirt, blue jeans – Probably my all time favorite outfit. I wore this to aldersgate after dark in 2007 0r 2008. • White pants, black tee – Oh this had a “side scarf” we made at camp. Its even worse than it sounds, but at the time I looked good! • Black pants, Bright green shirt, black vest – This outfit had to be perfect because it was my final day at the hell hole known as Baptist health. I was the speaker at our senior banquet and it was very important that I expressed both my personality and show a little bit of a rebel side due to the circumstances. I think it worked. • Green cardigan, brown tee-Thanksgiving 2006. Still a very casual/preppy outfit • White polo, pink tee, gray pants – I wore this to kelby’s graduation and this was my big return to beebe from Nashville. It was pretty great for 2005. • Multi-colored striped shirt with cowboy boots – I wore this to kimber cox’s birthday party in the 4th grade. It looked like the shirt John Michael Montgomery wore in the video for I swear. • Mint green shirt, boots, dark jeans – 2006, I would love to still have this shirt, but somewhere along the way I lost it! • Red pants, blue denim shirt. Sad story, wore this to the races and some girl came up to me and asked if she could take her picture with me. It was because we were dressed alike! • Orange pants, brown shirt, cardigan – Thanksgiving 2012. I loved the outfit but I thank it was the importance and how special the day was that put this on the list. • Prom tux – It was all black with a black/silver vest. It was pretty sweet and by far the best tux at BHS Prom 2002. • Yellow nashville tee – I wore this shirt till it had holes in it! Yellow shirt, with blue writing inside a blue guitar. • Tee over long sleeve shirt –In 2003 I promise it was cool to wear a t-shirt over a long sleeve button up shirt. • Tan suit – I bought this for my friend liza’s wedding. It is the perfect summer suit. • Brown sweater, Blue tee, ultra low rise jeans – This was a pair of girl jeans that I wore the heck out of. • Denim jacket, white tee, boots – 5th grade, this jacket had a leather collar. • Black Johnny Cash tee, jeans, gray belt, black/gray scarf. Who wouldn’t was a killer Cash t-shirt. And with the scarf I kinda feel like a rock star!
