30 years ago this week I heard what would become one of my all time favorite bands for the very first time. I was at my Grandmas house in Salt Lake for Spring Break. I grew up in the country and we didnt have cable TV but my Grandma had it and when I visited her I would overload on MTV back when the M still stood for Music. These days it clearly stands for Morons. I was waiting for a David Bowie video to come on when they played a song from a band called #U2. My first thought was, what a dumb name! Then I heard the music and Ive been listening to them ever since. I own all of their albums in several formats and Ive seen them in concert three times. Heres to another 30 years of awesome music!
