#3030challenge Day 3 As I listened to Joyce’s audio today, I could totally relate when she said that the devil has some many people fooled into believing that reading the Bible is such a complex and difficult thing to do. I once believed the same thing, but when I finally decided to turn my back on that liar [the devil] and face The Truth [God’s Word], my heart opened and I was able to receive a revelation from the Bible that my mind could have never comprehended on its own. THE RHEMA [THE VOICE] OF GOD IS POWERFUL! As I continued to listen to Joyce, I could barely sit when she declared: “If you approach this book [The Bible] with prayer and ask GOD to help you understand it, HE will help you understand and even if you don’t understand it, [The Word] will get down in your heart and change your life”. Yes, Yes, Yes! Preach Joyce! Ok calm down Karen… Before I go, I want to share something with you that I believe will help you during those tough times. When life comes at me full force (as it often does); and I begin to feel the presence of fear, depression, anxiety, or sadness creeping into my soul, I literally run to my bible and I read out loud Hebrews 5:12. I won’t quote it all, but it says: “For the Word that GOD speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper that any two-edged sword….” Wow! Just to know that I am surrounded (both inside and out) by a force that no foe can withstand, brings me instant healing and gratification that my GOD has not forgotten me, that my GOD has not left my side, and that my GOD will not allow NO EVIL TO BEFALL ME. GOD loves me ….and HE loves you too! GN 3030fam :)
